Ate at Firewater burgers (used to be Flip Flops) and it was delicious! We are at 178 miles with .4 miles to get to the Hiawassee outfitters to camp. It is sure muggy here!
BMT Day 17 (Night Hike)

“We made an altar for the bear poop and had a wonderful ceremony in the daytime without a light yes I need to get closer so it catches years of consciousness.”

BMT Day 13 (Naked Ground)
“We hiked 6.2 miles at .9 miles an hour! 6 miles of 3200 ft up. OK, this was the hardest day ever, even harder than Day 12.”
BMT Day 12 (Stealth Camp)
“..it was kind of an uneventful day. Except for the huge buzzing sound in the deadwood, which is actually pretty scary, yes it is. We wanted to stay out of the bee’s business.”

BMT Day 9 (Stone Living Room)
“Chipmunks and geese and geese and humans and humans we included humans but because they’ve been such a rare species today at least over a dozen humans were spotted. I love it come back in the human territory”.
