Day 12 (April 24, 2022, Sunday)
Day 12 was hard.
“The only critters we saw were snails on poop and poop twice”
“yeah twice and two other day hikers and it was hard a lotta hill climbs I guess all will be the same tomorrow”.
“For the most part it was kind of an uneventful day. Except for the huge buzzing sound in the deadwood, which is actually pretty scary, yes it is. We wanted to stay out of the bee’s business.”
“I think it’s the hardest day we’ve had and we had so much food yeah a lotta weight yeah still got a lot of weight even after it yes but I’ll take some of that and put it back in my backpack yeah”
“We spent most of our time on that ridge, yeah the hike was really hard, there was a lot of climbing, it was a hard day. “Well done. It’s very dark outside. It’s cozy inside.”
