hills and hills and hills

We cheered the competitors on as they came by some said thank you and some grunted and we only saw one couple on the whole trail they had two dogs and Ken saw wild turkeys but Lisa did not see them.

There was a long prescribed burn as we walked through yes there was lots of controlled burning.

.

We got a fire started with wet sticks that was amazing!!! Ken is Lisa’s hero! And dinner was awesome Lisa really like the Rice-A-Roni and mac & cheese mix, it was really good.

“Now we’re staying warm and dry like little worms in our sleeping bag yes wet and damp and chilly outside yes and it wasn’t supposed to rain but it did.”

“Tomorrow will go 14.8 and the fire was awesome and it feels really good to lay down.”

“and see more ferns yeah most of the day yeah yeah there were more ferns and we did a lot of hills with fog, our feet got wet because the grass the plants are all wet now that’s it that’s it another fabulous day”
